Lindsay Gastrell

Lindsay Gastrell is Senior Counsel at Arbitration Chambers, specializing in international dispute resolution.

Lindsay specializes in international dispute resolution, with experience spanning private practice, academia and institutional service. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, and recognized as a Future Leader in Arbitration by Who’s Who Legal. As Senior Counsel at Arbitration Chambers, Lindsay works with some of the world’s leading arbitrators on large, complex international disputes and acts as an independent arbitrator. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at American University, Washington College of Law, where she teaches investment law and arbitration. Prior to joining Chambers, Lindsay served as Legal Counsel at the International Centre for Investment Disputes and as part of the International Arbitration Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in New York and London. Her experience is built on training across international law, common law, and civil law traditions.
