Jacob serves as counsel in disputes concerning contract, energy, investment, construction, commodities, financial services, insurance, and intellectual property, among other matters. He has appeared in state and federal courts as well as a variety of institutional and ad hoc arbitral forums. Jacob is an editor and contributor to Baker McKenzie's "International Litigation and Arbitration Alerts Newsletter", an associate editor of ICDR Awards and Commentaries, and co-author of "Obtaining Evidence Located in the US for Use in Foreign Litigation: 28 USC § 1782." In 2013, he was listed as a Rising Star by the New York Law Journal. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Jacob clerked for the Honorable Milton Pollack of the Southern District of New York and interned for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History and was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School.
