Harry Trueheart is an independent arbitrator and mediator experienced in the resolution of a broad range of complex business, financial, construction, technology and other types of corporate and commercial disputes. Arbitrator and Mediator for the American Arbitration Association, Member of the Advisory Council of CPR – International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution and member of the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals. Member, International Arbitration Club of New York. Past Chair of the Federal and Commercial Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association. Past Member of the Federal Bar Council Board of Directors. He focused his legal practice on business litigation including domestic and international arbitration.
He has served in a variety of executive and board positions including as Chair, CEO and related leadership roles in Nixon Peabody LLP, for more than 25 years, as Chair and CEO of TerraLex , a global network of more than 140 business law firms in 100 countries, as a trustee of a leading technical university, as chair of a regional public broadcasting corporation and as a member of various business related boards.
His combined experiences as a litigator and arbitrator have included work in a broad range sectors including international construction and energy projects, privatization, private equity, finance, real estate development, technology, internet services, sales and distribution, professional services including law firms and accounting firms, higher education, telecommunications and public broadcasting.
